Apple is pioneer in mobile phone development. Now they have extended their business to the vehicle industry by introducing CarPlay technology which is used inside the vehicle by making the car an iCar.
The Car Play technology facilitates the iPhone user to interact with the car. Mainly it integrates the iPhone with the entertainment system in the car. This is done by connecting the smart phone to the dashboard technology available in the car.
Apple CarPlay lets the iPhone user to make calls, receive calls and listen to voice-mails when they are traveling. This option is really valuable for busy people. So a huge crowd of customers are expected by the Apple Inc. for this new technology.
All these features are enabled though Siri or the car’s dash-in touch screen. Siri is Apple software which allows voice commands. Apple has used most of the Apple owned technology when making CarPlay. And this blending of technologies has helped the users to explore a vast area in the technology world.
The CarPlay gives access to the iPhone in a safe manner as the technology is meant to be used while driving. This technology enables the iPhone user to send messages and listen to music. And also giving access to the maps service is also a feature of CarPlay.

Within this year, the so called iCar or the first car with the CarPlay technology installed in it will be shipped.

Apple CarPlay in BMW, Mercedes, Lexus, Volvo, Audi, Volkswagen and Porsche
Apple has hold hands with BMW, Mercedes, Lexus, Porsche, Audi, Volvo and Volkswagen which are the top most auto makers in the world which use QNX within their systems. That focus on luxury names and newer phones, at least at first, is a deliberate move by Apple to present itself as an aspirational brandApple CarPlay in Honda, Mazda, Ford and Toyota
Ford, Mazda, Honda, Toyota, Dodge Charger, General Motors and other affordable auto manufacturer in the automotive industry are also expecting to join their hands with Apple CarPlay. Some other car manufacturers which are hoping to have CarPlay within their systems are Hyundai Motor Company, Jaguar Land Rover, Kia Motors, Mitsubishi Motors, Nissan Motor Company, PSA Peugeot Citroen, Subaru and Suzuki. Because of this bond, the sales of iPhones and the cars will also go high making both parties in win win situation.
